Welcome to the Sharon Youth Field Hockey Association, Inc. (“SYFH,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. Purpose of This Website

This website is intended to provide information about SYFH programs, registration, schedules, and communications for families and participants.

You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only and not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the website

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the site

  • Submit inaccurate or misleading information

2. Youth Participation & Parental Responsibility

SYFH programs are designed for youth female participants (typically grades 3–8).

By registering a player, you confirm that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian (or have permission to register the child)

  • All information provided is accurate

  • The participant is physically able to take part in athletic activities

Participation in field hockey involves inherent risks, including injury. By registering, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

3. Registration, Fees & Refunds

  • Registration is not complete until payment is received

  • Program fees and deadlines will be clearly communicated during registration

  • Refund policies (if applicable) will be outlined at the time of registration

  • SYFH reserves the right to adjust schedules, combine groups, or cancel programs due to weather, enrollment, or other circumstances


4. Communication & Contact Information

By providing your contact information, you agree that SYFH may contact you regarding:

  • Practice and game schedules

  • Weather cancellations

  • Program updates and announcements

We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to operate our programs (e.g., registration platforms).

5. Code of Conduct

We expect all players, parents/guardians, and spectators to:

  • Show respect to coaches, officials, and other players

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship

  • Help create a positive and inclusive environment

SYFH reserves the right to remove participants or spectators from programs or events for inappropriate behavior.

6. Photos & Media

SYFH may take photos or videos during practices, games, or events for use on:

  • Our website

  • Social media

  • Promotional materials

If you do not wish for your child to be included, please notify us in writing at SharonYouthFH@gmail.com
 

7. Website Content

All content on this site—including logos, text, and original images—is the property of SYFH or is used with permission or license (such as stock photography), unless otherwise noted.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission from SYFH.

We may use third-party tools (such as registration or payment platforms). SYFH is not responsible for the content or policies of those external services.
